The Lower Beta Kindergarten Class works at a first grade level at SJGS. Their unique, hands-on learning opportunities are filled with traditional education methods and multiple resources.

Academic goals for our Lower Beta class are:

• Fluent Reading with comprehension
• Writing with detailed sentence structure
• Strong Vocabulary skills
• Upper Math including 3 digit addition and subtraction, number line usage, graphing, symmetry, money, time, greater than & less than, measurement, and fractions.

Social goals for our Lower Beta class are:

• Learning to raise hand
• Take turns
• Share
• Care about others
• Respect
• Citizenship
• Consideration
